If he wins both, California is heavily in play.

| 18. Maybe. Someone on DU said they're mailing their absentee ballots now. |
|
So many votes don't hinge on SC and NV.

| 21. It was said that around 40 percent voted by absentee in 2006 |
|
But SC is 10 days before the primary and NV is 17 days before, which means that there is a good chance people will mail their ballot until at least after Nevada and possibly some after SC.

| 5. Continue since no candidate will win a majority of delegates on Super Tuesday |
|
He will also win several states and that will allow him to continue, although in a much weakened state if your scenario comes true. If Obama loses Georgia that will be a big blow to him. That is the big state other than his home state that he is most likely to win on Super Tuesday. If Hillary takes that it is bad for him. Even if the worst possible scenario occurs for him he will continue. He will still win at least 20-25% of the delegates on Super Tuesday and no one will be near the 2,000 delegates needed to become the nominee after Super Tuesday.

|
The fact that Obama wins anything on Super Tuesday is shocking considering how "inevitable" Hillary was 2 weeks ago. I think Obama's hope on Super Tuesday is to pick off a few clear wins in a couple states and then come close in the biggies that Hillary already has 'wrapped up". Since the delegates are assigned based on portion of vote, Obama stays alive to fight another day if he keeps peeling off more than a third of the delegates. A trouncing on Super Tuesday will end it for him. That's why these two weeks are getting so rough. But a solid second in Cali, NY, NJ, etc. keeps him in until the convention.
Now for Hillary, if she loses one of those big monster states it'll be the Mother of All Upsets. She had 25-30 point leads there just 3 weeks ago.

| 30. Yes but Obama was also inevitable just one week ago |
|
The bar was raised for Obama and if he loses most, or maybe all, of the big states and has only a handful of wins that will be a big disappointment for a guy who was crowned just last Tuesday.

In case you haven't heard, both Michigan and Florida have lost their delegates, so their input means just about as much as the Canadians.

Who Endorsed Obama. MA has are used to voting for Black leaders. Plus the fact that Obama and his wife both went to Harvard.
My daughter lives in Cambridge and MA is Obama's to grab and keep on going! :)

| 31. as long as you're being nasty let's look at this scene: |
|
Hillary lose CA, MA and CT as well as several other states. Now we know she likes to choke up and manipulate people and we know she's a paranoid little cookie, not to mention that she plays the sexism card and loves to hide behind Bill's coattails and get her surrogates to files law suits, so what will cryin' hill do? Probably all of the above.
Put it out, get it back.
