Biden would have mopped the floor with any of the pugs, and also is by far the best qualified for the job

the entire process is broken - and toxic, as Gore puts it. Good people like Gore, Biden, Feingold, Clark opt out rather than continue to tilt at windmills

I think if he'd been in that four person debate instead of Richardson, he might've gotten a little more attention.

I have the same available press coverage as all of them. OK, some don't have HS Internet, cable TV with C-SPAN.

But a ton of people with the same "chance" to see throught the bull opted to memorize the mantra like so many preschoolers learning the alphabet on Sesame Street.

3. I think primary process should be scrapped

Go back to when the candidates were nominated in the general convention. The primary process is costly, and doesn't get us the most qualified candidates. The average voter is influenced by the money poured into it, and by name recognition. I believe that professional politicians would end up selecting someone who is highly qualified and electable. Hillary and Obama are probably less electable than someone like Biden, Richardson, or Edwards.

I agree the current process is an abomination.

Maybe we need to just hire a chief executive like cities who hire a city manager instead of electing a mayor.

The position is supposed to be one of implementing the laws, not making shit up. So downgrade the hell out of it.

He definitely would have been the best candidate to put up against any republican in a general election. The MSM is choosing our candidates for us and they chose to ignore Biden.
