1. Did anyone see Bill Moyer's Journal last night? He did an interview with Henry Waxman.....

Henry voted for the Iraq War. When Bill Moyers asked him if he regretted it, he said he did. He said he legitimately was fooled by the lies of the entire Bush Administration.

I love Bill Moyers (he's far more of a lefty than anyone I know, and does more to help this country than most lefties), and I like Henry Waxman, yet he voted for the Iraq War. How much more time are we going to spend masturbating with the vote for the Iraq War, on who voted this way and who voted that way, when the fact is, the majority voted for it based on the bullshit the Bush Administration provided as "proof?"

And before anyone flies off the handle, let me reiterate:

1) I was an Edwards supporter and donator;
2) At this point I want a DEM in the House and I don't give a shit which Dem it is;
3) There are Republican plants all over this forum just as there are Republican plants all over the Internet, and they are the most vociferous attackers of both candidates.

2. Waxman admits he made a mistake, as did Edwards

Hillary has not. She has not taken any responsibility for her vote.

That's what bothers me more than the vote itself.

It shows that she hasn't learned from that mistake and will probably make a similar mistake if elected.

5. Actually, you're missing the real point: HRC will continue the war indefinitely, Obama will not.

That is the central moral issue here, not Hillary's war vote, which only describes one of her many
flip-flops.

Hillary will continue the war, leaving bases in place and never giving a final date of departure.

Leaving bases in Iraq is occupying Iraq: this is the reason we are still at war; we are at war, because
we are occupying Iraq.
