You assume that the election of Obama is inevitable. No, he isn't. The voters get to make that decision. And if they should choose Hillary, it doesn't mean that the fix is in, either.

Then, you assume that endorsing the nominee is "selling out". Most people do not. This is a group effort, and Obama is as much a team player as a leader. The best leaders are both.

If Obama loses, it's not like he dies.

at who is winning the next few weeks. Right now Obama is on fire. If he wins Wisconsin on the 19th and wins either OH or TX then I think a lot of Super Delegates will think about who has the momentum and who looks to be the best bet for November. Which candidate can excite the electorate, bring out independents, bring out young voters and motivate black voters to turn out in record numbers and I think a lot of them will go with Obama--even some who may currently be for Clinton.
