| Republican voting numbers? (My first post in GD:P) |
|
The Republican weasels in the media and talk-radio wanted their brainless boob followers to vote for Hillary. Does anybody have hard evidence to back that up? All the right-wing talk radio bastards pleaded with their brainless minions to vote for Hillary to cause chaos for the Democratic Party.
I don't wanna complain too much because so far Obama has had alot of support among Independents and Republicans lately compared to Hillary. But that was different because they were genuine and they actually liked him. They basically wanted a change in the Iraq policy IMO. But this time it was purposeful interference!!! There was an all out effort the past few days by the Rethuglicans to throw the election for Hillary. I'm just curious what the numbers look like.
BTW, I'm so happy I left that xenophobic and racist piece of shit party. They launch a multi-trillion dollar war and kill hundreds of thousands for bullshit reasons. They cause our economy to collapse because of the so-called "war on terror." Fuck them. I'll vote for Hillary or Obama any day. I just hope America can turn the page. What we need is unity and not chaos. So congrats Hillary. I just hope we don't tear each other apart. This election is too important.

| 4. Hillary got 49% of Rs in Ohio, 47% in Texas... Rs were 9% of the votes, in both states. |
|
According to exit polls on Cnn. That is much higher than her previous Republican support.

I didn't check for Texas. But I also know the vote is different in the east and south than in the west as well.

| 7. I think you have it partly correct. But here is my take. |
|
I believe many Republicans were voting for Obama early on simply to knock Hillary out of the race. Clinton hate runs deep, if not wide. However, I don't think the "players" believe that Obama would do as well as he has and his seemingly unstoppable momentum frightened the beejeezus out of them becauce they saw the huge crowds and the media spin favoring Obama. Now they want to put the breaks on his campaign because they are afraid that he actually might have a better chance in the primary than originally thought. (I do not believe that Obama can win the GE, but the evil bastards are getting nervous.) Hence, they now find it more convenient to boost Hillary. This too will backfire because I do believe that Hillary can beat McCain if all those energized young voters and Independents stick with the Dems. The Republicans will go back in Nov and vote for McCain but I think that Hillary can take him on just fine. If, however, Obama is the nominee, my bet is that the race factor will overtake him at the polls. Whereas, the women's vote might be able to counter the Hillary-hate-bots. The story is in the numbers. Yes, we can win with Hillary if Obama supporters will vote for the Dem nominee no matter what.

I don't think McCain will win. The Republicans will miscalculate as usual. Just look at the anti-war ads that will go up for the general election. Even the republicans hate this war. I just hope America does that right thing and elects Hillary or Obama in order to end this war.

And you are right... the RW media machine has been pushing HRC since the day after the 2006 election... those of us who have been paying attention know this
And I hope it does not tear the party apart
