| I would give $2000 if it meant getting Hillary in the White House. You? |
|
I think we can all agree, Kerry is just a sideshow - what we really want is 16 years of Hillary in the White House. I've written my letter promising a big donation if she is picked as VP, how about you?
Man, I love Hillary. I think a Hillary/Janet Reno ticket for 2012 would be ideal as well.

...I don't think many of us here would disagree, that a Kerry loss in 2004 would be worth it for a Hillary run in 2008, right?

| 3. I think she's great, but |
|
if she was the VP nominee it would completely overshadow any issues we would want to discuss. The media would drag out all of the Clinton "scandals" and we would have to talk about that instead of substantive issues.
I think Hillary needs to wait until the next open primary whether in 2008 or hopefully 2012.

to vote against her. For that matter, there are some who are not that wingnutty who do not like her.
I don't think she has a chance. She would detract from the ticket. Let her take her chances in 2012.

I will vote for Kerry - the Hillary thing didn't pan out like we thought it would. I would just like it even better if Hillary was VP.

|

There is already practically no discussion of issues. Hillary on the ticket would make sure not one issue was discussed between now and November.
Besides, I think there are better candidates in the party.

Other than the fact that the right absolutely hates her, I haven't heard anything from her which makes me all that excited. She seems to be a centrist like Bill, and I would prefer someone more to the left. Not that I wouldn't vote for her, of course.

|
...I hate nepotism, and don't like seeing people get jobs or positions because they're related to someone. I don't like her, her policies and her positions always feel like a finger in the wind. Honestly I was no fan of Pres. Clinton either, he pushed the party to the right. That said, he won on his own merits. There are plenty of women in the democratic party who deserve our support based on something more than having to pay contrition for their moment of public shame.

She made a tactical mistake not running in this election and "saving herself" for 2008.
Now she has to live with the fact that the bold man who did give this election his all has a real chance of getting elected in 2004.
And get Wes Clark for VP, lets get that national security issue air tight so no October surprise will rock the boat.
