| Any Colorado Democrats out there? |
|
In Colorado, there has been no Democrat who has stepped forward to take on ultraconservative Rep. Marilyn Musgrave. Anyone know anything about why this is (or anyone interested in a run?)

and the Colorado Democratic Party generally has it's head so far up it's ass I'm surprised they can win in districts that are Liberal.

Yes, no Democrat has stepped forward to run against Musgrave. Her only opponent is Bob Kinsey who is running as the Green party candidate. I spoke with him, and also heard him speak at a Kucinich event last week.
Apparently, he spoke with people in the Democratic party, and said he wouldn't run if they would put up a candidate. He even offered to run as a Dem, since he is a lifelong registered Dem. He said that he got no response, so he's probably the guy to support if you want to oppose Musgrave.
I like him, although I admit he probably doesn't have a snowballs chance in Hell.
I'm not too impressed with the Colorado Democratic party right now.
