Unity to a purpose is something else. But unity for the sake of unity is fascism. Or the 1950's revisited.

Peace--well, the only true peace is the grave. Don't go looking for it.

Hope--hope gets us up in the morning and lets us sleep at night. Babies are hope. Seeds are hope. Hope, even misguided, foolish, delusional hope, has its redeeming qualities. It keeps us going.
