Obama. If a candidate acts mature/good-natured, people like that candidate more.
Right now the Dems look like squabbling kids, so it is very understandable why people like them less.
I would just like to thank Hillary for bringing out the dirty attacks, so McCain can either sit back, or play good cop and defend Obama.
There's a reason that negative primaries have historically been looked down upon. Hillary and co. have little concern or restraint this time, though.
They can't realize the damage they are doing, because it happens slowly, and the damaged perception happens in the more quiet, reasonable, and detached voters... you don't see it on the talk shows, or in the blogs, you see it in the people unadjusted to and not active in politics.

| 1. According to the Polls, McCain has gone up because he has |
|
captured some of Obama's Independent Voters.

McCain only goes up when no one is paying attention to him and no one is fighting him. That will change no later than August. Then he's toast.

| 3. I might have even said I had a somewhat favorable impression of him |
|
after he defended Obama. Doesn't mean I'd vote for him (I wouldn't), but I might have answered somewhat favorable if I was polled last week.
