KERRY/EDWARDS STOPPING in Lawrence, KS tomorrow! I just

saw in the local news that when they were "traversing" Kansas to get to Colorado, they saw a big group of well-wishers in Lawrence and wanted to stop but couldn't. Apparently, they decided to have a stopover tomorrow in honor of the people who showed up today.

Anybody from Kansas going? I did not catch the exact time, but I am sure the Democrats in Lawrence have the info?

they won't be in Maryland at all. Maybe they'll stop by in Northern Virginia if that state remains close.

That would be why they are likely stopping, because would be one more day of local media coverage in a Missouri media market.

4. They are stopping

because they were supposed to stop on Friday night but were late and did not. They saw all the people out waiting as they blew by. The Edwards have fond memories of Lawrence from a trip a long time ago (the story is on the blog) and they felt bad about everyone waiting when they did not stop.

3. I'll be there!

We were in KC enrolling my son and were going to go see Kerry/Edwards but we had to come home. Then we thought we would head into Lawrence but were too tired after the long day so YES we are heading in the morning to the Train Park! The gates open at 11 I think.

The only "liberal" enclave in Kansas! I'm reading Tom Frank's book, What's the Matter with Kansas? Wow, what a state that state is in!
