Imagine, if you will, the elections of 1992 and 1996.

What do you suppose would have happened if a group of veterans who hadn't fought alongside George H. W. Bush or Bob Dole had come forward, lying about those two Republican war veterans? What if that group had said, point blank, that Bush or Dole hadn't served honorably?

What would the media have done?

What would the conservatives have said?

What would the general reaction have been?

Just wondering...
