I cannot find an angle, but how will Rove and co. use this in the presidential race?

engage in illicit sex acts while the repugs don't even know what sex is because they are just too pure to engage in anything but holy unions. And by golly, they talk with God and He talks to them and they know what is right for the whole damn earth because God told 'em.

just before the convention, and as Kerry is finally getting a boost from the Democratic convention. Republicans don't even need to bring up McGreevey by name. Just using code words like family values, alternative lifestyles, and gay marriage will be enough to inflame the passions of voters!
Personally I think this was more than an affair, it goes without saying that Republican operatives were blackmailing the Governor. And now this resignation will hurt Kerry in New Jersey, force him to respond again to their message, and give Bush a huge boost after the Republican convention.
The real question is what will Kerry do to bring focus back to his message, and use this scandle for his political benefit?

The only thing they can do is make some vague speeches about how Democrats are sleazy by nature. But after Connecticut and Illinois, we are still doing better than the Republicans this year.

|
I don't know, of course. But won't he try to use it for whatever it's worth? Rove must be thinking, 'Gay marriage...a gay DEM politician outting his own self...what shall we do with this?' Actually he's probably known about it for a while and has a plan at the ready. More distraction from real issues.
