Comedian commentary on the campaign:

"The Tonight Show with Jay Leno":

snip...
"Is it me or is Bush going everywhere Kerry goes? So far in the past week, President Bush has followed John Kerry to Davenport, Iowa; New Mexico; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; and he follows him to Portland, Oregon. The only place he never followed John Kerry was Vietnam."

snip...
"Florida bracing for Hurricane Charley. Hopefully it will just destroy the voting booths."

1. Wow - I thought Leno was in the Pubs' pocket. I guess even he can't
pass up such a fat juicy target like *.

2. Leno can kiss my ass
Oh, yeah, he makes jokes about shrub NOW because even he can see Kerry is going to win--he's just trying to save his career. Doesn't make up for the whoring for bush and Arnold and his continuing to tell lame Clinton/Lewinsky jokes even now. Fuck Leno!

3. I don't blame him for the Clinton jokes either.
He is a comedian and who could pass that up as a target?

5. A few days ago I was flying through O'Hare (sp?) in Chicago
And while we were waiting to take-off, the Pilot pointed out that the Kerry-Edwards Campaign plane was sitting off to the left. A few people looked out to observed this moderately historic event.

Then somebody said "Look, Bush's plane it right next to it!!"

That got alot more people to look out, and sure enough, there it was with big bold lettering, the "Funtime VACATIONS" plane.

7. Yes but he had to get his obligatory jab at Clinton and Democrats
It was about Mcgreevy and he said "Finally the Democrats can be truthful when they say I did not have sexual relations with that woman."

8. Leno knows which side has the butter
A lot of comedians make their bones by poking fun at power. Leno ensures a fat sinecure by having his lips firmly attached to the seat of power, wherever it is found. Hell, for the millions and millions of dollars NBC throws at him, I suppose I'd be willing to whore myself, too.
