| You shouldn't pay attention to the national polls |
|
remember, popular vote doesn't win it... The polls may show a tie/slight bush lead amongst the nation but Kerry is winning in the Electoral College based on state polls.
Wouldn't that be something if Kerry wins the EC and loses the popular vote?

We'll have to come up with our own version of "Sore-Loserman."
Bush-Cheney = Hush-Whiney?
I can just picture certain members of Congress trying to retroactively dismantle the Electoral College.

| 7. The new outlier Gallup poll.. |
|
that shows Bush with a slight lead and approval ratings at 51%
Just go to your nearest big media outlet, I'm sure they're covering it.

| 10. Stop with Gallup already |

The only poll of the last 13 that has Bush winning is Gallup. Gallup is obviously overestimating republican voters.

If Gore was winning the popular vote by even two or three percent alot of close states would have fallen into his column...

| 8. It would be very unlikely that bush would win the popular vote and loose |
|
the electoral vote, for the simple reason that we will win more large states than he will.
We will win big in states like California, New York, Illinois, but we still only get their electoral votes. Bush will win big in Texas, but winning huge margins in Utah isn't going to move the EV very much.
I see it as very possible that like in 2000 Kerry could win popular vote and loose the electoral college, but the reverse situation is very unlikely.

| 12. You forget that Gore WON the electoral vote; it was stolen. |
|
Gore won the popular vote nationwide AND also in Florida, with anywhere fron 50,000 to 100,000 votes. BushCo stole them through a combination of butterfly ballots, double-punching and triple-punching Gore votes, illegal absentee votes for Bush and supression of Gore absentees AND black disenfranchisement of over 50,000 voters.
