Good grief...I feel like I just ran a marathon and if I had to watch Ickes speak one more time today, I think I would have broke my screen:argh: I can't believe the gall and audacity of that man and the hecklers. Do they realize how they looked? I was embarrassed for them and they should have thrown them out on their ass. I can't believe I watched that all day... now for a stiff drink:beer:
anybody else? phew...get this primary over:crazy:

| 12. Yeah, Hillary never asks for moderation. Instead she finds |
|
value in inciting the crazies.

| 14. Very smart of him. It could have turned into a real brawl. But this attitude is passed down from |
|
the top, e.g. Hillary CLinton and Harold Ickes.

That was a horrible episode. Horrible. Granted, a seafood allergy may be coloring my perception, but I still say HORRIBLE. In fact, I am outraged that you would spew such filth here at DU, where we used to be safe and united.

There were circus like moments, to be sure, but I appreciated the democracy involved. There was a guy who called into CSPAN--he was a lapsed Republican who had come over for Obama, and he appreciated it too. It's messy and sometimes ugly, but it's thorough, and it works, ultimately. ;-)
