Good news!

Senator Hillary Clinton is keeping the "option" of taking the dispute with the RBC's decision to the convention for a reason. She is still in the June 1 primary in Puerto Rico, and the June 3 primaries in Montana and South Dakota. If she accepted today's decision now, it is accepting defeat. A candidate who wants to win the Puerto Rico primary, contest Montana, and do well in South Dakota can't do that.

There is an understanding (distinct from an agreement) that she will drop out late next week, probably on June 6. When she does, she plans to harness all the support that she can, in order to influence the party's platform.

Today's decision isn't going to inspire her to continue the fight that would destroy her legacy. Instead, she will work to unite the party. And when she does that, anyone advocating otherwise will be exposed as something other than a democrat.

Things are good. I hope that you are enjoying this chapter in our political history.

brought something to mind. I walked away for a minute, and discussed it with my wife. It has to do with the dynamics of tension between groups and also individuals. I do know him. I know that he is one of the two advisers telling her to keep fighting. Far more are telling her that it is over. Also, as I've said, a little over a week ago, Rahm Emanuel was tasked with telling her that she will lose key support if she drags this out.

Chuck Schumer maybe but not Rahm. I can wait until Tuesday when it
will be over. I really expect a very strong anti-aircraft flack from all party leaders

I don't trust the Clintons they have revealed way too much in this election that
even the public can see them for what they are and crave displaying the makings

I have had many battles with Mr. Emanuel, but he is, for the most part, a pragmatist.

He's totally backed down from his earlier support. And I thought I caught some tacit disappointment in the way Clinton's campaign has been conducted.

Rahm is VERY loyal to the Clintons, especially Bill. I think he's given up the ghost.

She is going for the nominee because:

she BELIEVES she can convince the delegates to support her over Obama!

I thought her people were so badly behaved that everyone was less than impressed to say the least. To be honest, they were so thuggish, I wondered if they were actually dems. I;d say everyone's noses were put out of joint with the exception of her supporters. The scene was so miserable that were I a super D, who was still on the fence, the havoc her people tried to cause would put me firmly in Obama's camp. Further, Ickes used the term 'affirmative action ' twice, so just like she saying her bit 3 times, it says to me it was planned. Just who did he think he was going to bring along with that type of talk? I think the adults are going to step in and send her for a time out. Also, on a technicality, Obama now controls the credentials committee. Her tantrums have no where to go.
