It's just fluff to fill the quiet time until the real electioneering starts, people. Christ, instead of agonizing over this nonsense, burn off your energy by volunteering for a candidate or your local DNC. You'll feel better for it, and you won't look back kicking yourself over an issue all the crying in the world will do nothing about.
