Suppose both sides are right about the opposing candidates ?

Just for argument sake only, suppose that Kerry did not really deserve all his medals? Suppose he didn't deserve any of them? OK, give it to them.

Now suppose George Bush was actually AWOL from his National Guard unit? Suppose it is really true that Bush used his family name to jump in front of others to escape going to Viet Nam?

Now, what do you have left? You have a guy that went to Viet Nam and still has shrapnel in his ass and a guy that went AWOL from the National Guard unit he joined to keep from going to Viet Nam?

Give them every point they are trying to make and Kerry is still head and shoulders over their AWOL guardsman, George Bush. Take away all of Kerry's medals and everything the BoatPeople accuse him of, and he still towers over the Republican candidate.
