Is Kerry suing the smearboat bums?

I was sitting in a parking lot waiting for my girl to come back, and I was flipping stations, and I landed on the one that plays Weiner, and I heard him say that Kerry was suing the swiftboat bums.

IS THIS TRUE????

No lectures people I know all about Savage and ability to lie, but still this isn't a statement I think even he would toss loosely.

He has filed a complaint with the FEC that the Bush/Rove campaign is involved (illegally) in this smear campaign.

See if he was actually suing them, on the negative side what I don't like is we give this issue all the attention and Kerry retracts from the real issues in order to fight this fight.

HOWEVER, if he is suing or if what he is doing right now is very similar to it, it would require that he would be open to releasing anything anyone wants to see in order to win the case which is showing the public he absolutely has nothing to hide and this would bury those freeptards into a world of shit.

Anyone who has read the story or knows legal stuff, how much damage can this complaint do or is it just a glorified version of saying "stop that, it's not nice"
