Teresa's no lady, first or otherwise

What a classless broad you are, Teresa Heinz Kerry. What a loudmouthed, unthinking, boorish woman. Never mind your background, or do mind it--that you were born in Mozambique, went to school in Switzerland and South Africa, worked at the United Nations and married the late heir to the Heinz foods empire. You don't understand--and never will--what it is to be an American.

I watched you and your current gigolo husband, John Kerry, during an interview on Larry King, Teresa. As the Frenchurian Candidate nodded agreement next to you, you told us that France and Europe had long lived under a cloud of terrorism--and by implication had surrendered to the threat--and America should simply accept it, as well.

Well, Teresa, unlike you, I grew up in America. I know America. America is my country. Teresa, your France and Europe are no America.

And you, Teresa, with your chichi scarves, your international background, and your inherited millions of dollars, you will never understand how special my America is.

My First Lady? Well, Teresa, I already have a wonderful, charming, very pretty, well-spoken, and thoughtful First Lady, Laura Bush.
