| How can the public NOT know Obama?? |
|
Someone with a clearer view on this, please clue me in. I hear this every week on the MSM at least once or twice. An explanation by the media that the reason the polls are close, or any given reason for anything, is that the American public does not know Obama.
In the same breath..next paragraph, they will go on and on on how Obama is taking up too much space on the tv, or traveling overseas, and McCain is not getting the same amount of press coverage.
There are days I start to feel like that little hamster on a wheel. Which is it. No one knows Obama or who or what he is all about. (Today on CNN it was suggested instead of going overseas he should have done a biographical tour), or that the press is covering him too much. Getting out all the aspects of his life for the public to the point that John McCain is over in the corner being ignored.
What am I missing?, better yet what are they missing? Does any of them ever look at what they are reading and go.. uhhh, this makes no sense?

he's a celebrity vs he's an unknown
he hasn't passed the commander and chief threshold vs he's too presumptuous for looking presidential.
also- he has a thin resume and hasn't done anything vs he caused high gas prices.

after hearing about how "people can picture McCain as being commander in chief, etc" (puke), when Obama does things that McCane has been doing, he is too "presumptuous".

| 3. The MSM will attack him on all sides, on every issue, until after his 2 terms are done... |
|
Even then, if the MSM is still around in its current form, they will attempt to rewrite history by giving a negative analysis of his presidency.
It's our job to fight this crap.

aka Johnny Appleseed if I have to. I heard a lot about putting our canidates feet to the fire (what a brutal mental image that is by the way ), but I think who needs to be held accountable, is the press.

| 7. Not just that, but if they missed his speech at the 2004 convention, they may |
|
not have heard his name until the primaries started. Add to that the fact that he has spent less than one term in politics on the national level and it's not surprising that many people don't know much about him.

dumb assed reasoning. Who the hell knows anyone, really. A person places their life in the hands of a doctor that you know less about than Obama. This is such crap and it all started with Raygun and idiots like chimp that people want to have a fucking beer with. NEWSFLASH...none of these people are going to have a beer with Mr/Ms Nobody, DUH. :silly:
