It's long past time that George Bush also take John McCain's advice and do the right thing by putting an end to the smears and lies attacking John Kerry's military service. I'm guessing McCain asked Kerry personally to remove the ad because he was in it, and Kerry wants to respect his wishes. These guys have been in Washington together forever -- it proves Kerry's ethical. Whether it's wise or not, I don't know, but I'd rather know he wasn't an ass who didn't care what people he respected thought.
