To: Unam Sanctam The FEC has already said that there is nothing that could be done this close to the election.
Get rid of 527s when we get rid of McCain/Feingold!

To: Unam Sanctam These people all better read the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. Our Founding Fathers specifically said that political speech could not be suppressed.
They felt that free speech was so important, they made it the First Amendment.
What is it that I am missing here?
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

| 1. But I do wonder how many of these comments |
|
are referring to MoveOn, etc, and how many to SBV? I think they are for free speech when it's their POV, and outraged when it's ours.

| 2. Well, I'm not sure where I stand on the 527 issue. |
|
The hypocrisy could cut both ways. But I know it's a separate issue from the content of the respective messages (MWO truth vs. SBV lies).

that had a problem and sued for the clause limiting that the 527s could not air comercials within a certain amount of days of the election to be overturned as un Constitutional .
bush has seriously flip flopped on this issue and the freepers know it .
I'm glad to see some are calling him on it .
