| The Media is Playing Right Into a Narrative |
|
The Media is making the convention all about Hillary Clinton. They're attempting to sew the seeds of discord in teh belief it will help their convention ratings for people to tune in looking for a floor fight.
It's kind of like a car race. Deep down, spectators expect a crash.
What is really going to happen, though, will be a passing of the Democratic Standard from the Clintons to Barack Obama. This will be doone with both class and style.
The "aides say" and faux concern all plays into the narrative. Once it is over, it will be clear the democrats are united under their presidential ticket.

| 1. It was already scripted before Obama chose his running mate. |
|
This is what we'll do if he chooses (fill in the blank)!

HE knew how they'd play this.
They don't know that they're really pushing his agenda, but they'll learn.

| 9. Finally, we have a team that knows how to play the game |
|
and win. This is what has always driven me crazy: The repukes aren't really all that bright, and their strategy is always pretty darn apparent. Why they've gotten as far as they have, I think, is partly because our team hasn't stepped up to the plate.

| 6. Good idea, deleting that. No, only REPUBLICANS want to see |
|
a 1968 convention, with hordes of angry protestors. Not real Democrats.

| 10. Yeah, I wasn't thinking straight when I wrote it. We'd want to see it in St. Paul, not Denver. nt |

| 12. LOL! Yeah, I guess it would rock, but they wouldn't show that either on the M$M. |
|
It would be all talking heads, close-ups of delegates and press, and no shots of outside. Must perpetuate the myth, after all.
