| Did Kerry challenge Bush to a debate on Viet Nam service ? |
|
Or was suubject matter excluded? Since it is so controversial, Bush would probably jump at that opportunity, don't you think? Kerry has challenged him to one debate per week, so I'm sure they could work that subject matter into the debate, and settle it once and for all? C'mon Bush! Show the people that you are a real man. Take Kerry up upon his challenge. Don't be a wimp....

Of course, the President keeps telling people he would never question my service to our country. Instead, he watches as a Republican-funded attack group does just that. Well, if he wants to have a debate about our service in Vietnam, here is my answer: “Bring it on.” http://www.johnkerry.com/pressroom/speeches/spc_2004_0819.html

| 3. Mathews proposed the debate on MSNBC |

He said let's get Bush and Kerry in a room and debate Vietnam now instead of waiting until the scheduled debates otherwise this nonsense is going to drag on.
