Why no additional bounce after Big Dawg and Biden
I haven't
posted in forever lol. I was a strong Hillary supporter but have seen the light with Obama. He's a GREAT nominee. I have a question though. We got a big bounce in Gallup after Hillary's speech but no additional movement after President Clinton and Joe Biden's speeches. Any thoughts on this? I thought they both just pushed us even further over the top.

Also, a little concerned about what the reaction was to Obamas's speech. One that I thought was the best I ever heard. I was shaking as I listened to him speak.

I went on the internet to see if there were any focus groups during the speech and found one. I thought he'd be off the charts with Dems, High with independents and even with pubs. The results though, unless i'm misreading them aren't showing the excitement i thought they would. Maybe I'm reading them wrong because he hardly ever goes in negative territory even with repubs but i thought I'd see some high spikes.

Anyway here's the link to the focus group, you'll have to watch the entire speech again(u lucky dogs) and it takes about 5 mins to load on high band. Please give me your thoughts. ty

It's under Just Released and as i said takes about 5 mins to load on broad band.

2. Maybe 'cause HRC finally convinced her 18M that it was time to let it go.
Nobody voted for Bill and Biden was out for a long while so his folks had already adjusted.

HRC and "Were you in it for me, or for ..." and they let go.

13. So if history is an indicator we have to hop for a double digit bounce?
Or are things different now b/c the conventions are so close

11. hi
I'm talking about the gallup tracking poll. When they showed results that included Hillary's speech, Obama had an 8 point lead. The next day after Bill and Joe spoke it was the same. I just thought we'd see some more higher movement because they both di an excellant job.

Her'es link: http://www.gallup.com/tag/Gallup%2bDaily.aspx

My mistake...there was an additional 2 pt bounce...glad to see it

14. Don't worry about a focus group. They're not intended to be representative
of anything, they can't be.
