Walt Starr's fake ribbons story makes C-Span call in

On this morning Washington Journal the shrub fake ribbons story was brought up by a caller. It happened I believe within the first half hour. The caller gave a good amount of detail to the audience.

WJ is usually repeated sometime thru the day and it's always archived at the C-Span website.

It was great that he brought it up, but I'll bet somebody with no knowledge of Walt's amazing work would have a bit of trouble understanding what he was talking about

and Stevieboy couldn't get away soon enough, and start reading fawning snips from the fishtrainers

did you hear that garbage from Pickles, defending her baby boy on his seven minutes of freezing, and CRITICIZING Kerry for what HE did at the same time?

When are the gloves coming off over that tranked out drapery horse?

he would never have gone into the school knowing one plane had already hit the WTC. That was an exeedingly dumb decision. Someone with a brain should have taken command and said we need to find out the situation NOW !

3. The caller sounded like he just woke up

like many people who call in at 7:00 am. He at least got the story to more people. He said he read about it in the UK Telegraph.

As for Pickles, I hope more the people here at DU who said she should be kept out of the discussion would now think twice. To me having someone like Pickles coming out attacking Kerry just doesn't work. Rove spent too much time painting her as a goody goody behind the scenes wife to now make her a lady of substance.

can you imagine the hue and cry from EVERY pug today if one of Kerry's ribbons were in the slightest bit tainted?

The white house corporate media connection. Also to be figured into this is Rove's direct shot at reporters that try to question anything the white house says. Apparently during a pool reporter gathering he called out 1 particular reporter who wrote something negative about him. As said, he made it known openly to others that he would take them to task for doing this. I know it hearsay as of now but i'm sure someone could post a link to a more accurate account of this story.

9. It isn't nice to say bad things about the wife of "our president"

It is understandable that she would defend her husband. <sarcasm> My gloves have been off since she appeared on the scene taking advantage of the war in Afganistan for photo ops showing her "deep" concern over the plight of the Afgan women , maybe even before that. She has sinced dropped any visible concern for them like a hot potato. Seems her ability to focus is as short as George's.

I saw her coming into this "devoted advocate for George in the campaign" role a long time ago. She trots about the country on our money and has raised ten mil, mayube more, so her husband can continue on with his serial killing.
