2. That reminds me of a story I read somewhere on the internet.

It's pretty gross, so I might have to pm it to you. But I hope the repukes get exactly what they deserve at the restaurants in NYC. If I was there, I'd be just the guy to do it to. :-)

5. I heard a story today before the march...

A friend was in an ice cream shop on saturday night a block or two from where the convention is being held. The guy working behind the counter was a proud flaming homo, and it was quite busy. (btw - here in NYC, proud flaming homos often call themselves just that - so don't get all bitchy about it!)

There were quite a few obvious RNC delegate types, one big fat one in particular who was making a lot of noise. The counter guy was serving people at a brisk pace, but kept passing over the noisy RNC guy. At a certain point, he got huffy and started yelling that he wanted service. The guy behind the counter yelled back at him:

"Now you know what it's like to be gay in Bush's America, asshole! Now get the fuck out of here!!"


So... it's not all spit and piss. Sometimes it's direct confrontation!
