To those manning the barricades in NYC this week

Yesterday's demonstrations wer fantastic. It is all we hoped for in one day. Let's hope that this continues for the entire week.

Violence will play into the hands of the yuppie fascists.

Please remain calm, no matter what. Do something colorful, but not destructive.

Assume that anyone who tries to incite violence is an agent provocateur; ignore him.

Large, peaceful demonstrations will drive home the fact that millions of everyday Americans do not and will not accept Bush's leadership as wise, benevolent or legitimate. That will greatly advance the cause of ousting the junta in November.

I thank the hundreds of thousands who decended on New York yesterday to deliver the message to the world that America is not yet a fascist state and does not approve of a war justified by a pack of lies or of the so-called leader who lies and murders thousands.

Keep up the good work.
