Just asking because it seems every thread that questions Kerry's response (or lack thereof) to something, or every thread talking about the latest poll numbers, or every thread with ANYTHING negative about the Democratic Party or candidate draws the same posters over and over and over, all eager to pile on and get their licks in. Yet any thread that mentions ANYTHING positive is ignored by them.

Or am I imagining things?

what you are missing is basic human psychology

People tend to emphazize the negative and assume the possitive is just there

That is why repeating that good things are going on (Poll number TRENDS) are not good for Bush, needs to be done

4. Could the moderators do some simple analysis

and compare the amount of negative posts to the number of posts someone has posted? It would SEEM (I haven't thought about this a lot yet) that if you found a high inverse correlation between the negativity and the number of posts logged by a user that you MIGHT be able to draw some conclusions.

Many of the posters I see have over 1000 posts, and some actually have stars. That doesn't mean they aren't paid operatives though...

They only flock to the negative poll threads. Coincidence?
