Now if they cant use this to hammer Bush then the Kerry team is worthless. I guarantee ou if Rove got this gift he would make it work for Bush. We will find out now if the Kerry camp has big ones or small ones. This now gives me reason to sometimes watch the convention talk.

If we can't win the war on terror then why do we need Bush leading it? As for "catastrophic success" it illustrates the complete lack of planning for post-invasion Iraq but I think this also could become a ubiquitous term to describe everything Bush has done. As in:

The Bush economy is a catastrophic success when you look at record corporate profits and declining wages and lost jobs for most Americans.

The Bush tax cuts are a catastrophic success as measured by the increase in income for the wealthy and the increase in poverty for other Americans.

The Bush Medicare plan is a catastrophic success. Catastrophic for the elderly and a huge success for the pharmaceutical companies.

Bush's acceptance speech at the republican convention was a catastrophic success.

Bush's performance in the first debate was a catastrophic success.

Bush's battle with the pretzel was a catastrophic success.
