So many negative posts

Away from this board for a day, but back from the demonstration in NYC, which was a wild success .... I'm looking at DU now and I see a lot of negative posts, a lot of worry, supported not only by a lousy Washington Post poll but by anecdotal evidence and expected powerful speeches by leading Repukes.

Well, keep this in mind: This will be the WORST WEEK for the Kerry campaign, because this is the week that Republicans will be in all their glory. If the Dems come out of this week with the race still close, they are in really good shape. After this week, the race for the White House begins, and we have the edge when it comes to Bush's record and when it comes to Kerry's qualifications. Resign yourself to the fact that this week will be pretty depressing. Just as the Repugs lived through the Dem convention, we will survive this one, and will be ready to move into high gear to get the Repugs out of DC come November.
