| Freeper thinks Alan Keyes should run for Schrock's seat. I kid you not. |
|
For those who may have missed it: Ed Schrock, incumbent Repuke congressman from Virginia has pulled out of the race for reasons of outed gayness. He was a cosponsor of the Distortion of Marriage Amendment, of course.
Here it is:
To: AuH2ORepublican Any ideas on who could run for the GOP?
Alan Keyes? He'd be closer to home and have a sure win.

Need a candidate? I think Alan Keyes is available. To be fair, other freepers are pushing for Oliver North. Oh, yeah! (He doesn't live in the district either though Pat Robertson apparently does. At least that is where his Regent "University" is.

stay in the Illinois Senate race. He is on track to win that one (ha ha). At least he is on track to get about 15% of the vote.

be willing to sign a petition or something to help him run in both places at once. I have no problem with it. I was hoping that he would be more prominent at the convention. He has such interesting things to say and I know that the public would LOVE to hear them.

| 8. Good idea! Alan Keyes can be the designated candidate to take the place |
|
of disgraced Repukes who have to withdraw. Alan will finally have found his place in life. I am so happy for him.(sighs.)
