3. nobody wants to hear us right now...

nobody is defending OUR side or directing these questions..someone on Kerry's own campaign was on fox and he didn't even bring up the comment about how bush can't win the war on terror...we need to be hammering these guys...they are idiots...and this ass kissing fest didn't happen a month ago..and it sure as hell isnt' playing fair...I am so disgusted I am NOT watching one more miute of this convention....I thought the analysts would be balanced and it certainly is not

4. It mocks the medal and the process in which the medal is awarded

thus everyone who was awarded a Purple Heart are being told that it is equivalent to a bandaid. Anyone who wears one of those bandaids should be shot in the leg so they can do a pain comparison.

but I agree with you on this one. I'm sure getting even the tiniest sliver of red-hot shrapnel embedded in your leg is a hell of a lot more painful than having a silver spoon up your ass your whole life.

5. no other country would tolerate an institution like medals being

treated as a joke in this manner.
The outcry would be deafening from the conservatives.
This risks forever tainting the Purple Heart..in fact I almost think that the Purple Heart has now been rendered useless as a medal to award.
