Anytime you get 50,000 idiots to attend the same party

Anytime you get 50,000 idiots in one spot, under one roof and broad casted it in prime time to the world it does hurt to think there are that many Americans who are so willing to throw democracy and the Constitution out the window - all in the name of patriotism. Last night's TV coverage of the idiots attending the GOP makes a good case for who is using 9/11, soldiers dying in Iraq and veterans. They suffer from a particular virulent strain of "head-up-their-assitis" right now in Madison Square Gardens. But there is an antidote.

If you want to see a half a million people who are really reflective of Americans watch the videos of Sunday's march on C-Span. Right now all we are seeing are 50,000 toadies collected together in one spot and making a lot of noise. If they had had the guts to appear in New York on Sunday afternoon then their numbers would have been too small to even have be noticed. Where were they in Philadelphia? I believe that true Americans outnumber them 100 to 1 in the real world. And damn the polls - "it ain't over 'til it over." (Apologies to Yogi!)

Be patient, stay angry, and work your butts off - let them have their little get together, pat each other on the back, make fun of veterans and everyone who doesn't agree with them, milk everything opportunity they can out of THEIR mess BECAUSE the party is over on September 2 and the war in the homeland begins.

Suit up, get out - and kick ass.
