| Why hasn't a 527 vet organization been formed to attack Bush? |
|
The Dems remain on the defensive over Kerry's superlative military experience, while Bush sneaks away relatively unscathed. As long as vets feel they can attack what Kerry did 35 years ago, why aren't progressive vets getting together to express their disgust at Bush's lack of patriotism, dishonesty, cowardice, and immaturity during the same time period. I bet a lot of people would contribute to a 527 that does to Bush what the Swift Boat Liars are doing to Kerry. I know I would.

| 2. Did vets come together to express disgust at Clinton? |
|
No, it was a non-issue to the common vet (it was an issue for the MSM, though). In fact, many appreciated that he avoided that horrible war, and the same goes for Bush.
I think the anger stems from Kerry's very public testimony in 1971. If it wasn't for that, we'd never have heard from these guys.
