Bagala was great on Imus this morning. He combined great attack on salient points with diarming humor. You laugh as he slides the knife in.
We need that. The blend between agressive as hell and diarming humor avoid the perception that you are just mean.
Kerry needs a Bagala to run the campaign... FAST!!!

Paul Begala has been through a Presidential election campaign before...when he (and James Carville) compromised the "War Room" for the Clinton/Gore campaign in 1992. Begala knows this stuff...and I think the Kerry campaign should ask him to come on board. I think he can be excused from his "Crossfire" gig for a few months...that's not even close to being as important as elected Kerry.

anyone who knows Lockhart knows he is a lot more informed about the way the right wing works than begala is. begala does a good job of defending democrats, but he doesn't have a very good understanding in detail as the way lockhart does. in terms of campaign worker, lockhart is THE guy.

I had no idea that Nashville was Coastal New England, yeah he's windsurfing, talking to the American Legion and Windsurfing are the same thing in bizzaro land, I'll watch the speech and report back on it. Hope he mentions the ignorance of the band-aids.
