Interesting note - Clear Channel, mega right wing owned radio network, has now signed up to broadcast Air America for several hours a day in some markets. Al Franken's show on Air America is out polling OxyRush is several markets. And like true recons - profit comes before ideology. Can't you imagine the dilemma in Clear Channel's executive suite - "Damn, why can't we be nasty and make the most money? We want it all! Why, oh WHY, does Franken have to be better than Rush?"

527s? One of my postings was comparing the 527(all)s and the 501(c)(all)s. The biggest advantage I saw with the 527s was the disclosure requirements and I have not seen anything yet in McCain-Feingold that changed them. I'll see if I can find the post and repost it if you want.

I looked at the 527 info that PublicIntegrity has and it appears that most 527s are taking a June fiscal for their IRS filings. It does not appear to be a big deal to file your return with "errors" on the contributor's page and just "correct the mistake" later.
