| My prediction; Kerry By A Landslide! |
|
Mark my words. The polls are flawed in that they do not look at new voters.
I certify to you, almost nobody went out to register to vote just to prop up Bush's sorry ass.
All of these new registrations are our people.
We will win this so big that there will be NO GOP by 2008. Then our friends in the Libertarian Party can show us what they're made of.

they are not including the new eighteen year olds, the older people, or the minorities
The only issue is that they might interfere with the voting accuracy, but if the win on our size is enought that will not matter

| 7. The PATRIOT act cuts both ways... |
|
I don't think the Right has properly comprehended what a tool they were giving to a Democratic President when they passed the PATRIOT act.
Once Kerry is in power, I doubt there would be any real chance for a nutcase to get close to him. They can draw such tight security around the POTUS now.

This will be a tight election. There are strong feelings on both sides. Also the churches are registering people too and a lot of them are Bush's.

polls of voters age 18-29 show that they are 2 to 1 for Kerry. 1 out of 6 voters is age 18-29.
A lot of people in this age group do not have land line telephones or their own residences, and as a consequence are rarely included in major polls.
Kerry will win in a landslide if the election is not stolen.

|
on election day. I'm skeptical of the polls too but that doesn't seem to be making me any less nervous. And when I see they way the cable news media are treating the Republican Convention compared to the way they treated the Democratic Convention it is really getting me pissed off. I'm also concerned about the BBV issues. But, in the back of my mind I just keep telling myself that there are going to be tons of new voters and very few of them will be voting for Bush. The other thing that keeps me going is that I can not imagine anyone who voted for Gore last time changing their vote to Bush this time around. And we all know who got the most votes last time right?

| 12. Far more likely that Republicans will not motivate to vote |
|
A lot of Bush's support among old-time Republicans is only an inch deep. They are not excited about having him as President, and are not happy with the state of the nation. This means they are far more likely to decide that they are just too busy to get out and vote this time around.

But I do think they are going to do things like, report false polls, tamper with electronic voting machines and there might be an October Suprise. But my gut says he is going to win big. I really want him to pick up TN,West Virginia and North Carolina. I will cry if he can get some red states! Well I'll cry no matter how he wins.

I was on the ground in '92, we thought we won big, 58 Senate seats, control of the house, a majority of governorships, then Whitman won in NJ and Guliani in NYC and we lost a couple of special house election and then there was an earthquake in '94.
So destroy the GOP, I wish but I think not.
We will be waging this fight every day for the rest of our lives or suffer the consequences or our indifference.

through the DNC or Kerry, volunteer to work phone banks. I did it for Clinton, Gore, Edwards and Kerry. You can do it from home, they'll email you the lists. You call people starting 2 days before election day and keep pounding them to vote, dont forget! need a ride? cant get there? dont know where it is? Offer ANTHING but money to make them go vote.
People feel included when they get a personalized phone call, believe me. When they pick up the phone and hear you're from the DNC or Kerry, their ears perk up, be nice, light, cheerful, positive, etc.
Dems ALWAYS win when there's a big turnout.
It works ;o) :kick:

4 million conservative Christians didn't vote in 2000. They are working to get them all to the polls. Guess who they'll all vote for?
This election will be close. It shouldn't be, but it will be.

| 30. Yea, I can figure that out, and I know what inspires people to vote |
|
against Bush.
Bill Clinton inspires me, as did Bobby Kennedy, I heard Jesse Jackson speak when he was running for President "Slop pot by the door", and he inspired me. Eugene McCarthy inspired people, especially the young people, who were broken hearted when he lost.
Now I have voted for as many Democrats as you have posts so don't give me that Bush crap, the only Republican I ever voted for was my friends mother for Town Clerk,- the question still remains - What has Kerry done to inspire people? I hate bush but I don't love Kerry. Get it?

| 29. The American People need to wake up. |
|
And give control of the country to the only people being reasonable. We need to take the house and senate and the presidency, then we can force through the changes that we know the country needs.
The problem we have now is that the neanderthals are running the store, if we could jsut get the power, we can give the American public the free medical care they so desperately need, we can give them the medicine that will absolutely change their lives, we can negotiate with the people who shrub has alienated and caused to hate us, we can transform this country into a true global partner with the rest of the world.
I have a dream...!
