I knew the polls were probably right and McCain was winning, but I expected it. Even said the day after his speech, when Obama was still up, he'd probably take the lead for a week. I also said no one should freak out until it proves to be sustained and it wasn't. Likewise, we shouldn't start dancing on McCain's grave just yet...if Obama is leading 50-44 or 51-43 by this time next week, then it'll show his current bump is a trend and that's when we can start getting excited. But it wouldn't surprise me if McCain gains a bit and this race is tied again by mid-week.

That just seems to be the nature of this race. However, I think the days of McCain leading by a significant margin, basically anything 3 or above, is over.

The state by state polls do not show this trend. Polls can be rigged and they usually are. People should just forget about the damn polls and concentrate on the other indicators that bozObama is losing. The melt down of the BozObama campaign for one, the ever louder shrieking of the MSM, these are all tale tell signs that the chosen one is losing. 3 top democrats publicly changed their vote to McCain/Palin this week. The PUMA's are madder than ever at bozObama and are switching in droves and you think these polls are accurate? BozObama has lost much of the woman vote and he can't win without it.

His desperate ploy yesterday of having 20 young blacks pretend to be protesting him shows how scared he is, and I firmly believe it was a setup and not a real protest. If it was a real protest that shows he is deeper in the poo than we even realize.

I, for one, pay no attention to the polls except within the last week of the election, and even then they are suspect.

We’ll have a nuclear Iran, in fact, we’ll probably help them get there. Israel will be wiped off the face of the planet. He’ll make sure he can do all he can to tank the economy completely so he can impliment his socilaist manifesto. Then after that, don’t be surprised if 2008 was the last year we had a Presidential election.

Odd mix of realism and pure paranoia in this guys post - I can guess exactly what he's looking at (electorally, the rest of the post is insane), I see it all over the numbers. The real potential for a "break" of support in Obama's favor. There's a path to landslide there and the Obama team is headed straight down that road.

As a social-conservative first, I still feel the GOP should lose because only then there will be a deep examination of what this party stands for.
