Kerry up two since last poll in early August (both RV and LV) and Bush down one in both.

The poll is encouraging news, though the MOE is somewhat high.

4. I wouldn't be surprised.

Remember W's approval was over 90% at one time; pretty much he can only chip away at his own approval rating by fucking things up. It's like the "neutral" position is pro-W, and once you're disillusioned you fall out. Though he has enjoyed a few bounces.

This has probably been posted before--it's interesting to see them all lined up (I included earlier polls to squeeze Zogby in, but even without it, Kerry looks like he's in pretty good shape--especially considering that he had no money to spend in August, was hammered by the Smear Boat Liars, and is up against an incumbent who once had an approval rating of 90 percent).
