| Nora O'Donnell ,mentioned, repuke aides say "it's all but wrapped up"! |
|
O'Donnell from MSNBC
She mentioned during a back and forth with that Chris Jansing that behind the scenes the repukes feel everything is going their way. They have great momentum and aides are saying it's all but wrapped up. She then said that no one would publicly say that of course.
Well, I have news for them, it's just started. The 60 minutes piece will be airing soon, the debates have yet to start, Kitty Kelly has a book on the way ( she always seems to find some deep dirt on these people ), plus everyday events to change things in a heartbeat.
I love the fact these repukes are gloating as much as they are. It will feel that much better watching their world crumble before their eyes come November!

She stated it because she felt like say it ( smiling all the way thru ), nothing stops these news readers anymore, facts aren't needed, hell they can create their own stories from what we have seen.

I ALSO remembered a press conference where the WHPC were lobbing up their usual softballs ("Mr. President, where do you get your strength and resolve") and Nora asked a question that really threw Chimp-n-Chief I just can't remember what it was. It was awesome tho.

Norah is gorgeous, my TV fave. She specializes in mediocre rambles without succinct sound bytes and usually repeats the party line of the side she is assigned to cover. She is also originally from San Antonio, but schooled at Georgetown and I believe somewhat on the liberal side, based on talk show appearances outside a heated campaign.

They're not saying it publicly?! Then how did Nora O'Donnell "happen" to know they're saying it? They're not saying it for attribution likely, but they're clearly making sure it's out that they "think they have it locked up," and the media is too sheeplike not to play along.

it's wrapped up. On Lehrer newshour last yesterday their historian guests went through several examples of how presidential elections have been swayed by unexpected events in the last weeks before election day. With the war in Iraq, iffy economy, etc... there's NO way they can claim anything is locked up. Neither side can.

This is exactly what happened in Florida 2000. The sense of inevitability that Bush/Fox News forced on the media, who happily played it up. Remember, "Gore was taking something away from Bush" in Florida. Just like the SBVT's we have to be careful with this, because if the media train gets moving with "Bush has it wrapped up" it WILL be tough to stop.
Step 1: Play up the new AR poll that show the Boy King slipping.
PS this is not meant to be a sky is falling post. I've just seen these bastards impose there will on the media too many times in the past.

Unless there's some kind of disastrous terrorist incident, the economy will determine this election. If the numbers from now to November are particularly bleak, the Pukes could even bring Reagan back from the dead and it won't matter. It's all going to come down to the economic numbers. (Of course Kerry will have to immediately seize the opportunity and attack on that point, along with Edwards)

The more confident they are, the more stupid mistakes they make (ie: "Mission Accomplished"). Let them think they have it all wrapped up.
Besides, Kerry has proven himself in the Primaries that when people expect the other guy to win and that his campaign is toast, he works his ass off, shakes things around internally, and then comes back from behind (and he's not as far behind right now as he was in the Primaries by the way). As a Dean supporter, I have every confidence that Kerry knows what he's doing (a bit bitter sweet for me as you might imagine) :)

It's how they attempt to demoralize the opposition. They did the same thing before the 2000 elction "leaking" their expectation they would win in a landslide, and by making so many useless trips to California. They did it with the Florida fiasco as noted above, and they are trying it again.

a couple of weeks before the election in 2000, i remember shrub saying with great confidence that he was gonna take california......its all about projecting confidence and trying to demoralize the enemy. thats what these arrogant pricks do. do you really think they are gonna say that they are worried?
i think if the bush campaign told norah o'donnell that she was a stank ass ho, then this is what you would here norah say on the nightly news.."tom, the bush administation is saying to me in private that i am a stank as ho, back to you tom"......she is a stenographer for the assholes in charge...its that simple.

So as the President's poll numbers go down everywhere but in the Strategic Vision polls, that's considered great momentum?
How can Norah repeat this crap? She has been reporting on the Bush administration for far too long.

black is white, up is down. I saw Norah ODonnell shamelessly reporting that the repugs think "it's all but wrapped up". Then she did follow up with "no one would publicly say that of course".
The repugs must really be mad at her for telling everyone then.

This is par for the Conservative course. They are so sure that their viewpoint is the correct one they can’t fathom people NOT voting for Bush. The only people voting for Kerry are gays, communists, terrorists and minorities. They probably DO TRULY believe this is wrapped up.
If Kerry wins in November there will be a meltdown of epic proportions. The entire PNAC and 700-Club crowd has a direct line to the White House. Kerry eliminates that butt cold. If Shrubya gets beaten in Nov these people will make Miller’s speech last night sound like a quiet prayer.
