If Rove is running their ads in these two "red, red states", then something is going on.

4. Running about 3 to 4 times per HOUR

on CNN, MSNBC in Northern California. This is the second ad.
I wouldn't even know about the first except for the news coverage,
I mean it never ran here as far I could tell. This one is all
over. In some ways I'm happy... they must believe they have a
shot in CA, but it is a false hope. They have no shot in CA.
Anyway, it's costing someone a bundle.

2. They changed strategies.

They're trying to rally the base. They've decided they can lose the swing/independent voters if they can get the conservative base out to vote.

3. All Kerry has to do

is show press of Senator Warner debunking these charges in Virginia. You have to respect Warner for coming out so early against these Swift Boat ads.

5. There was a poll out yesterday that showed VA a dead heat.

The folks around Norfolk can't be happy about the purple heart bandaid nonsense either, so after a couple of days of percolation maybe Kerry will jump out in front there.
