but, Northern Michigan is heavily Republican, as is Western Michigan. I have also seen (too many) Bush/Cheney signs/stickers, etc., here in Dearborn (SE Michigan). I'm working my butt off to get everyone I can to get out and vote for Kerry.

handily in three straight presidential elections. There are certainly pockets of Republicans, but Democrats will win that state.

| 11. NPR had a story regarding MI |
|
went to the most Republican county and found many who voted for Bush who wouldn't vote for him in this election. There have yet to be any significant evidence showing Gore voters who are now voting for Bush. Michigan is in the bag for the Dems.

is wrong too. I think Florida is wrong as well. I would add 5 point to the Kerry vote in any poll conducted by Strategic Vision.

First of all NO OFFENSE to any Southerners on this thread...
With that said I tend to think that Zell tipped MI and Wisconsin to Kerry with his horrendous rantings last night.
I think the constant spewing from the bush "southern conservative values" types (bush and his phony accent included) over the last four years have stirred up a whole new North Vs South feud. (Esp when it seems like the Northern manufacturing industries are being hit the hardest)
Zell's bizarre performance last night might have been the icing on the cake.

Not that Kerry will win Alabama.
But 34 percent?????
Hell, the black vote alone in Alabama with good turnout is close to 25 percent.

Also, when I checked yesterday, they actually showed a slight lead for Kerry in Oklahoma, now it show a strong lead for Bush*...what gives?
Edit: minor change to wording.

| 27. I'll tell you EXACTLY what happened in California...DIEBOLD!!! |
|
Edited on Thu Sep-02-04 07:04 PM by loudsue
Check out the BBV threads on this one, and you'll see what a mess it has become.
The Secretary of State outlawed the voting machines after he saw all the research and the evidence of vote counting fraud and gerrymandering.
So...the neocons went after him. The Gropernator and the Atty. General reversed the Secretary of State's decision, so now Diebold gets to use their uncertifiable machines. And.... the neocons are trying to smear the SoS (Shelley) with a bunch of trumped up charges.
If that wasn't enough, Schwarzenegger THEN confiscated all the Federal funds that Shelley was going to use to do AUDITS on the elections!!!
Talk about a phucking RIGHT WING CONSPIRACY!!! The repukes will do ANYTHING...ANYTHING...to steal an election, and they'll do it with complete in-your-face illegal means any time they damn well please.
Without a fair vote count, California is easy for the stealing. The pollsters all know this. That's why it's not a solid blue anymore. Look what the media is saying: "California is now neck 'n neck"!
:wtf: California voting for BUSH???? Gimme a break!! Diebold voting for bush?? You bet.
And with this ONE ACT ALONE, you can bet bush will be in office another 4 years. California has 55 electoral votes.
