and I still miss him. How the idiot neocons could oppose him is still beyond me. He busted his butt to eliminate terrorism, to increase quality of education, not to mention life, he empowered women and minorities, he simply wanted a better life for ALL Americans, and for that, the bastards hated him. The only memory I have of 1996 is Steve Forbes' general weirdness and Norm McDonald's Bob Dole impression on the Howard Stern show. ("What's causing the problems in this country? I have three words for you: Negroes. Negroes. Neroes.")
The Republicans started shutting it down in bloody August as I recall.
