It's easy to swallow that right-wing bullshit when everything is hunky dorry, but, since these times we live in require some thought and then some serious decision making, no one in their right mind would want McCain and Palin anywhere near the levers of government.
Look, the only reason Bush won in 2000 was because there wasn't anything dangerous on the horizon. Sure the Dot.com bubble burst but all in all, things were going so swimmingly that the people didn't really put up any kind of fuss when Tony and his brethren decided Bush was to be our leader.
Of course thinking people realized there was a lot at stake in that election, but all in all, the whole thing kind of just "went away"...
Now people remember that election and realize that McCain and Palin are not worthy of the office. Well, most of us anyway, you just can't get some people to think once they have taken a big gulp of the Kool-Aide mix of hateful conservatism pour out daily by Fox, et al.
I think for the next 20-30 years, people are going to think twice about who they actually vote for. Well, most people, that is...
