Sarah Palin insults women and average Americans, when she assumes that talking like a hayseed
will entice "average Americans" into following her like she's some kind of pied piper in a skirt.

I'm smack dab in the middle of America, and not one mother in my book club talks like Sarah Palin.
Not one mom in our PTA meetings says, "Betcha" and "Darn it" and "Golly gosh" and winks at everyone when they're
giving talks. Most of the parents at the soccer games, gymnastics meets and school meetings understand
very well when they see an opportunistic politician who is way out of her league.

Sarah Palin is morphing herself into a gross caricature of what she thinks average Americans are like.

Sarah Palin insults all of us with this misguided, folksy shtick.
