| This is why Obama will stay classy tonight |
|
Edited on Tue Oct-07-08 07:42 PM by senseandsensibility
He is classy. That's who he is. He CAN'T be any different.
You know, I was going to post another reason until just a few seconds ago. My hubby had a conversation with a coworker this afternoon. She's been a big bushie in the past. Today she proudly announced that she was going to vote for Obama, and her whole family and most of her friends were, too. Why? According to her, it's because Obama seems so positive.
So... I was going to post that THAT's why Obama would be classy. He wouldn't want to lose those folks and people like them.
But then, just as I was about to type it, I realized that that's not the reason. For the real reason, see above.:loveya: We just have to accept that Obama is what he seems to be: a genuinely nice guy.
I've wanted him to hit back hard as much as any of you on here, and until a few moments ago I wished for that tonight as well. But it won't happen, and now I understand why.

There will never be an Obama that comes out swinging. He will just counter-attack if necessary and stay on the issues. Let Obama be Obama, it has been working for 10 months now.

| 4. It's the velvet glove effect. Obama's never come off. The strength underneath is always positive. |
