How do we know SwingVoters and Independents don't like a fight???

We treat "swing voters" and "independents" like they were a fragile lotus blossom. The rule for politicians courting them is: don't shout, don't accuse the opposition, don't go negative, don't swear or spit in front of them, and always stay "moderate" with a capital "M". How the hell do we know that that is what they want---did we ever ask them?? May I suggest that some of these 'polls' that have people's tum-tum in a knot tonight might just be those little lotus blossoms liking the "red meat" fight they saw at the RNC. Got meat??--screw the milk.

Kerry's advisers don't seem to understand the obvious point that attacks that go unchallenged work, which is why we're in the fix we are. It didn't have to be this way.

2. you really want to feed a world where we just spend the time

yelling and screamong at each other. havent we gone far enough of everyone being angry at everyone, cutting people off the road yelling if anyone does anything to us. is this really the world you want its, is it the only way we can be. how do you think this does anything in problem solving. dont we at least need a little civility to be able to communicate with another, one that doesnt share our views one we would rather work with not bomb and kill and mutilate. dont we have to start somewhere in being civil, if we want to be civil with the rest of the world
