| A Simple Explanation for The Time Poll |
|
Edited on Fri Sep-03-04 06:53 PM by Yavin4
Maybe it is accurate, but have you all considered this: It was taken at a time when most people go on vacation. I should know. My neighbors have been on vacation all week. Republicans, or people leaning Republican, are more likely to stay home and watch the convention. I know that they balance out Democrats and Republicans, but I just don't think that many strong Kerry Democrats were even home the past week.
IOW, if you're home this past week, you get polled and screened as a likely voter, you're more than likely to be a Bush supporter, even though you are a Democrat.

College kids are on the move. They're at college instead of being home to answer a poll. This will make the poll skew older. These polls already skew against young voters.

You don't necessarily have to spend a lot of money to go away. Just pile the family into the car and hit the road. Vacations are really cheap.
